Cliff Story – Property Manager

Cliff grew up in the Elgin/Union area of eastern Oregon. He attended both Elgin and Union High Schools and graduated in 1983 from Union High School. After graduation, he went to Texas for one year pouring manholes. Texas was not home so he came back to Eastern Oregon and worked for a rancher, helping out at a large cattle ranch for two years in Boardman, Oregon. He then moved back to Elgin Oregon where he worked as a logger and met his wife of 25 years, Marie. Cliff started working for S & R industries in Baker City, Oregon and moved his family there in 1987. During his time in Baker City, Cliff worked as a metal fabricator on big construction jobs but was away from his family much of the time. Being home at night was important to him so he got a job doing construction and moved his family back to the La Grande, OR area. Cliff continued to learn all he could about the construction industry and eventually went to work for WC Construction which brought him and his family to the Weston, OR area. During his time in the construction trade, Cliff took an active role as a youth sports coach in order to spend time with and support his son as well as other kids from grade school through high school. He is known as “POPS” to a lot of the younger adults around the Weston area. Cliff came to Meadowood Springs in 2004 and couldn’t be happier or more fulfilled.
